Piñon Ecovillage Associate Membership
Associate Membership at Piñon Ecovillage is similar to cohousing. Cohousing is a
type of housing that attempts to overcome the alienation of modern subdivisions in which
no-one knows their neighbors, and there is little or no sense of community.
Cohousing is
characterized by private dwellings (with their own kitchen, living/dining room, etc.),
sharing a common house and/or shared facilities, with common grounds. The common house at
Piñon Ecovillage has a large living/dining room, kitchen, library, laundry
facilities, and workshop.
If you would like to learn more about cohousing in general, visit www.cohousing.org
Cohousing at Piñon Ecovillage is offered in the form of 3 rental guesthouses and a large
common house with shared facilities, all located on a beautiful treed 1.5 acres with organic
vegetable gardens and spectacular mountain views.
